About two weeks ago, I started an undercover operation to rescue packets of Ramen Soup at risk of being used as salad “croutons”.
My wife came up with this salad recipe, where the dry noodles from a Ramen Soup package are used as such, uncooked in the salad. The worst part of this, is that the little pack that contains the chemicals to season the soup get discarded....oh! The horror.
So now, I sneak into the pantry and save some packets from this hideous fate. I save them and cook them as God intended:
- Dunk noodles into boiling water
- Wait 3 minutes
- Add Chemical goodness (with mellowing agents)
- Serve hot!
