Sargent RV

He is tall, looks very fit, sports a crew cut on his red hair and a severe expression on his face. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to RVs, and at the end of every sentence hangs a sense of consternation and alarm that calls for immediate correction, planning, action and prompt fixing of every single detail that appears to be a potential problem. No issue is too small or innocuous to be ignored or procrastinated.

He walks around my trailer, and after talking to him for ten minutes, my self image as a proud owner of a tidy RV shatters. Now I feel like a slob whose RV is teetering on the brink of self implosion and every single detail pointed out, an invitation for doom to pounce at the most unexpected moment.

As I see him drive away in his RV which looks like the virgin immaculate, I start to breathe easier and regain a grip on the reality of RV'ing...perfection is an invitation for a gloomy and stressful trip.
