Attention Levity Ahead readers:
This post marks the end of the phase of the trip that was "cute." Not quite good looking but with great personality. The sort of trip that you want to bring home and introduce to your parents.
I have read that St. Louis was supposed to represent the Gate to the West. Well, Fargo felt to me like that gate. As we turned west from Chicago, I could feel little by little how we were leaving curated culture and entering a frontier where the culture does not dare take root, and thus nature starts to rule the landscape. As we left Fargo and started to gain altitude into the plains of North Dakota, I started to feel that “welcome home” feeling and started to take deep breaths once again.
The next phase of our trip is more of a femme fatale type. The type of trip that will make you quit your job, get and RV, and parade around taking photos.

Is your trip good looking?
Going home....pushing ahead to meet the storm.
